Important: We do not use your images for facial recognition, identity verification, or any purpose other than skin tone analysis.

- Products viewed or clicked
- Retailer affiliate links accessed

We use your data to provide and improve the ShadeMatch experience:

How Your Images Are Used
Your face photos are used exclusively to:
- Detect your skin tone and undertone using color science algorithms
- Generate personalized foundation shade recommendations
- Improve the accuracy of our AI matching model over time

Once your account is deleted, all associated personal data and images are permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
Delete Your Data
You are in full control of your data. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time:
Open the app
Launch ShadeMatch AI on your device
Go to My Scans
Tap the My Scans icon from the home screen
Open Settings
Tap the ⚙️ gear icon in the top-right corner
Tap "Delete Account"
Confirm with your password — your account, scans, and images are permanently deleted
You can also request deletion by email at support@shadematch.app. We will process your request within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
ShadeMatch AI is not intended for users under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum digital age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately at support@shadematch.app and we will promptly delete it.
Third-Party Links
Our app may link to third-party websites and retailer platforms (such as Sephora, ULTA, and Amazon). These sites operate under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any third-party website you visit through our app.
